What Persona Will You Bring to Work Today?

People achieve different levels of success and fulfillment at work. These levels are accompanied by a host of emotional outcomes that often impact us far beyond the office walls.

Recognizing the scope of these outcomes — both the wide range of positive and negative emotions—is an important part of reaching our best “Flow State” in any given day.

Flow state is exactly where we want to be. But to get there, we need the right approach to avoid a common trap: Self-Sabotage.

When we rush straight into notifications, corporate fires, and chaos, we let the world choose our workplace persona for us. We accidentally put on an exhausting “Performance Mask,” slipping away from our true nature and into survival mode.

My proposition to counter this is simple: begin your day clearheaded and mindful.

By taking just five quiet moments for yourself first thing in the morning, you consciously choose who you want to be before the workplace hurdles even begin. You protect your anchor, keep yourself from sliding down into friction, and reclaim your professional composure.
